After a number of years in the Southern California tile business, Cletus Colpitts decided it was time to move his new family to the Northwest and away from the gangs. It wasn’t long before a workshop sparked his interest in granite, and he opened for business where all great things start–in his home shop. Cletus quickly became known for an accurate eye and extreme perfectionism, found his staff, and operated strictly on word-of-mouth for over 15 years.

Today, still a word-of-mouth business, Superior Stoneworks is operated by Cletus, his two sons, and a small staff. Superior Stoneworks is a faith-based, family business with thousands of installs in residential homes, commercial buildings, and apartment complexes.
